Playzone Party Rentals

This Rental Agreement (“Agreement”) is between Playzone Party Rentals (“Company”) and the customer completing an online booking (“Renter”). By submitting an online booking request and checking the agreement box, the Renter agrees to all terms below.

1. Reservations, Payment & Cancellations

• A completed booking form confirms your requested date and package, subject to Company approval.
• Payment is due at or before delivery / pickup, unless otherwise agreed in writing.
• Cancellations less than 48 hours before the event may be subject to a fee at the Company’s discretion.

2. Weather Policy

• The Company may cancel or reschedule in cases of unsafe weather (lightning, heavy storms, extreme winds, etc.).
• If Playzone Party Rentals cancels due to unsafe weather before delivery or setup, any payment made will be credited toward a future date.
• Once equipment has been delivered or picked up, the rental is considered in use and no refunds are given for changes in weather.

3. Delivery, Pickup & Access

• Renter is responsible for providing clear access to the yard or setup area (no locked gates, vehicles blocking, excessive debris, or pet waste).
• The setup area must be reasonably level and free of sharp objects, holes, or other hazards.
• Renter may move equipment as needed after delivery/set-up, as long as games are used safely and on appropriate surfaces.

4. Supervision & Safe Use

• Adult supervision is required at all times while games and equipment are in use.
• Games must be used only for their intended purpose and according to any instructions provided by the Company.
• No rough play, tackling, or unsafe behavior should be allowed, especially with throwing games and Nerf equipment.
• Renter is responsible for ensuring that all participants are playing safely and respectfully.

5. Condition of Equipment, Damage & Cleaning

• Renter agrees to return all games and accessories in the same condition they were received, normal wear and tear excepted.
• Renter may be charged for lost or damaged items, including missing pieces, broken parts, or excessive damage.
• Excessive mud, spills, or damage from misuse may result in additional cleaning or replacement fees.

6. Nerf & Higher Activity Games

• For Nerf kits and similar active games, eye protection must be worn as directed.
• Renter is responsible for making sure players understand safe distances, appropriate targets, and respectful play.
• Do not aim at faces, heads, or non-participants.

7. Add-Ons & Setup Service for Games

• Optional add-ons (projector, game consoles, water play items, etc.) may be rented for an additional fee as listed on the website.
• Setup Service for Games — $20: For yard game rentals, Renter may choose an optional Setup Service during booking. This includes:
  • Placement and setup of rented yard games in the playing area.
  • A brief explanation of rules for each game upon request.
• Setup Service does not include continuous supervision or staffing; Renter remains responsible for safe use of all games.

8. Assumption of Risk

Renter understands that playing yard games, including throwing, running, and Nerf activities, involves inherent risks of minor or serious injury. By renting and using equipment from Playzone Party Rentals, Renter voluntarily assumes all risks for themselves, their guests, and any participants.

9. Release of Liability & Indemnification

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Renter releases and agrees to hold harmless Playzone Party Rentals, its owners, employees, and agents from any and all claims, demands, actions, or causes of action arising out of or related to the use of the rented equipment, including but not limited to injury, damage, or loss to any person or property.

Renter agrees to indemnify and defend Playzone Party Rentals against any claims brought by guests or participants related to the use of the equipment, except in cases of the Company’s gross negligence or intentional misconduct.

10. Acknowledgment

By checking the agreement box during online booking, Renter confirms they have read, understand, and agree to all terms in this Rental Agreement.

By checking the agreement box during online booking, customer acknowledges that Playzone Party Rentals is released from ALL liability claims and agrees to all terms within this document.

Renter further acknowledges that they are at least 18 years of age and are legally authorized to enter into this Agreement on behalf of themselves and all participants.
